1. Company information

2. Eligibility and account security

You must have legal capacity to enter a contract and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised use. You may not misuse the website, introduce malicious code, scrape it unlawfully, interfere with security, or use it for fraudulent or illegal activity.

3. Products and orders

Product images are illustrative; colours may vary by screen, and dimensions may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Availability is not guaranteed until we accept your order.

Your order is an offer to purchase. An automatic acknowledgement confirms receipt but is not acceptance. A binding sales contract is formed when we send an acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first. We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance for stock errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions or legal requirements. If payment has been taken for a cancelled order, we will refund it to the original method.

4. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices and currency are shown at checkout. Shipping charges, taxes, duties and other mandatory charges will be disclosed before you submit the order where reasonably determinable. You are responsible for import duties or taxes clearly identified as not included.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and are processed by third-party payment providers. You authorise us and those providers to charge the total displayed. We may correct an obvious pricing error before accepting an order and will ask whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.

5. Delivery

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated. Risk of loss passes as required by applicable consumer law. Please inspect the delivery and contact us promptly about loss, damage, missing parts or an incorrect item. We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will provide any remedies required by applicable law.

6. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Returns require prior authorisation. Contact help@somdothome.com with your order number and reason. After your return request is approved, we will provide the applicable return instructions and return address based on the product and fulfilment location. Do not send products to our registered office unless we expressly instruct you to do so.

Items should be returned in the condition required by our Return Policy, subject to inspection and any mandatory consumer rights. Refunds are made to the original payment method unless law requires otherwise.

European Union

EU consumers generally have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason, subject to statutory exceptions. After notifying us, the consumer generally has a further 14 days to return the goods. We will provide the legally required refund, including standard outbound delivery where applicable. The consumer may bear direct return costs if properly informed, except where goods are faulty or we agree otherwise.

United Kingdom

UK consumers generally have 14 days after delivery to cancel an online order, subject to statutory exceptions, and then 14 days to return it. Separate rights apply to faulty, misdescribed or unfit goods.

These regional summaries do not reduce longer or additional rights under local law. Customised, hygiene-sensitive, perishable, unsealed digital or other legally exempt items may not qualify for change-of-mind cancellation where an exception applies and was disclosed.

7. Product conformity and warranties

Products must conform to the contract and any mandatory legal guarantees. EU consumers generally receive at least a two-year legal guarantee for faulty or non-conforming goods; UK, Canadian and US rights vary by location. Any separate commercial warranty is additional to, and does not replace, mandatory statutory rights. Contact us with photographs and your order number for a remedy.

8. Promotions, reviews and content

Promotions are subject to their stated period, eligibility and exclusions and may not be combined unless stated. Reviews must reflect genuine experience and must not be unlawful, infringing, abusive or misleading. If you submit content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use it for operating and promoting Somdot, subject to your privacy rights and the platform terms. You retain ownership of your content.

9. Intellectual property

The website, branding, text, graphics, software and original content are owned by or licensed to Somdot and protected by applicable law. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping only. No licence is granted except as expressly stated.

10. Liability

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory product and consumer protections. Subject to that rule, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, not caused by our breach, or are business losses incurred by a consumer. For business customers only, our aggregate liability relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Third-party services and force majeure

Payment, carrier, social and other third-party services may have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites we do not control. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, but this does not remove remedies that applicable consumer law requires.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. However, if you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the law of your habitual residence, including applicable protections in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain or Italy. Courts with mandatory jurisdiction remain available to you.

Please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve a concern. EU consumers may use available national consumer-dispute bodies where applicable. We do not require consumers to waive a right to court or accept binding arbitration unless they separately and validly agree where lawful.

13. Changes and severability

We may update these Terms prospectively. The version in force when your order is accepted applies to that order unless a change is required by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
